Culture in simple word is “way of life” of groups, it means the way they do things.

Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of particular group of people, encompassing

language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music, and arts. Using culture people will

recognized each other. A culture is passed on to the next generation by learning, whereas

genetics are passed on by heredity.

Culture absolutely has function or we call it importance. First, culture keeps social

relationship intact. Culture has importance not only for person also for the group. Culture

prepares person for group life like solidarity, solidarity are the foundation of a culture. Then,

culture provides solution for complicated group’s problem because the group usually looking

for solution by discuss it. This culture of disscussion at least can solved the problems. Next

function is culture provides traditional interpretation to certains situation. Through culture

people gets traditional situations according to which they determine their behaviour.

The forms of culture are divided to western culture, eastern culture, latin culture,

middle easten culture, and african culture.

The term of western culture has come to define culture of European countries as well

as those that have been heavily influenced by European immigration, such as the United

States. Western has its roots in the classical periode of Greco-Roman era and the rise of

Christianity in the 14th century. Today, the fluences of western culture can be seen in almost

every country in the world.

The eastern culture generally refers to the societal norms of countries in Far East

Asia. Like the west, eastern cullture was really heavily influenced by religion during its early
development, bt it was also heavily influenced by the growth and harvesting of rice. In

genera, in eastern culture there is less of distinction between secular society and religous

philosophy than there is in the west.

Latin culture are considered by many spanish-speaking nations. Latin america is

typically defined as those parts of the central america, south america, and mexico where

spanish or portuguese are the dominant languages.

Middle eastern culture, the countries of middle east have some but not all the things in

common.this is not surprise, since the area consists of approximately 20 countries. The arabic

language is one thing that is common throughout the region, however, the wide variety of

dialects can sometimes make communication difficult. Region is another cultural area that the

countries of the middle east have in common. The middle east is the birthplace of judaism,

christianity, and islam.

African culture, The continent of africa is essential to all cultures. Human life

originated on this continent and began to migrate to other areas of the world around 6.000

years ago. Africa is home to a number of tribes, ethnic, and social groups. Currently africa is

divided to two cultural-groups because the northwest africa has strong ties to middle east

while sub-saharan africa shares historical, physical, and social characteristics that are very

different from north africa.

Examples of culture like:

 An office might be casual or formal in design

 The language of a country binds together the citizens of a country and can

allow for their affective communication.

 There might be multiple sports option for citizens of both gender and all ages
 The community calendar may be filled with festivals and events that include

community members from different races and national origins.

 The favorite music of the culture may include artists on the billboard top 100

or from the newest pop stars on youtube.

 The beliefs of a country, both religious and historical, are often at the core of

country’s culture.
