Hi everyone, so today I would like to present my informative speech about the current

situation not just only in our country but in the whole world it is about covid-19. I know all of
you are very familiar and knows very well about this pandemic. All of us are at risk. We are
suffering from this covid-19 pandemic. In this speech, I want to explain more clearly what is
covid-19, how the disease start spreading and how people can avoid this disease by using 4
precautions.

Let’s start by discussing what is covid-19. Covid-19 is also known as coronavirus disease
2019. It is a new disease that are first identified in Wuhan, China in Mid December 2019. Covid-
19 is a family of viruses that cause various diseases such as the flu from more serious diseases to
these 2 types of viruses are not very familiar names by MERS-COV and SARS-COV. The World
Health Organization (WHO) reports that a new type of coronavirus comes from bats known as
Chinese Rufous Horseshoe Bat sold at the seafood market in Wuhan town. This disease
recognized as an pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. The
most common symptoms of coronavirus is fever, cough, and shortness of breath

Now I’m going discuss about how this disease start spreading. In 29 January 2020 the new
report found 6095 cases positive coronavirus, 9239 suspected cases and 133 death. It has since
spread worldwide include Malaysia, leading to an ongoing pandemic until today. The virus
spreads between people who are close contact with another person where the droplets of sick
person get into eye, nose and mouth of a healthy person. Other people can infected the covid-19
when they touching things that are actually have a virus from sick person’s who are touching
before such as pen, doorknobs, staircases, and laptop or even on the outside of the face mask. If
you touch any of this thing by accident and then touch your face, rub your eyes, pinch you cheek
without having cleaned your hands first you might fall sick

So, we just know about the how covid-19 start spreading and now I will tell you how we
can avoid this disease from spreading. To prevent the spread of virus, you must avoid from
person’s who are coughing or sneezing like you can choose to keep distancing of 2 meters which
is will make you more safer. Always sanitize your hands every time before entering or leaving a
place to keeping you’re free from the virus because hand sanitizers with an alcohol concentration
between 60-95% are effective at killing germs. Cover your mouth and nose with mask and
discard them immediately. Don’t use the mask for more than a day because the bacteria grows
from the inside of your masks.

In conclusion, we’ve discussed what is covid-19, how the disease start spreading and how
people can avoid this disease by doing 4 precaution. There is one quote that had reflected us
during pandemic ‘’it might be stormy now but rain doesn’t last forever’’. This quotes meaning
that we might be struggling now but every struggle will just pass by so what we can do is just
