1. What are the three modes of extrajudicial settlement of estate? What

are the requirements?
2. X died intestate. He left no will and no debts, and all his heirs are of
age. One of his heirs is C, a lawyer. C insisted that they resort to a
judicial settlement of the estate of X. If they filed the proceeding in
court, should the case be dismissed?
3. Y died, leaving no debts. His heirs are all of age. Y left a will, dividing
the properties to his heirs, except for a certain car which he
becqueathed to his driver, H. The heirs decided on distributing the
estate by extrajudicial settlement. They also showed the will to the
driver and gave the car to the driver, as stated in the will. Is this
proper?
4. Diagram the relationships of the persons involved in the case of In Re
Delgado (GR No. 155733, Jan 27, 2006). Illustrate/indicate therein how
the estates of Josefa Delgado and Guillermo Rustia were divided.
