The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France is one of the most famous monuments in the world.
About 7 million people visit it every year. The Eiffel Tower was designed by Stephen
Sauvestre, Maurice Koechlin, and Émile Nouguier. It was built to celebrate the 100th
anniversary of the French Revolution. Although it was completed in 1889, the Eiffel
Tower is still the tallest man-made structure in France, standing at 324 metres above the
ground.
