ATI Improvement Opportunity and NCLEX Success Plan

Seniors,
You are almost to the end! We are proud of all that you have accomplished so far, and we want to
support your future success.
Please review the following opportunities to improve your ATI Comprehensive Predictor score and
ensure your success on the NCLEX. This document represents the most accurate and up-to-date
information. Please refer to this information moving forward.
 Optional ATI Comprehensive Predictor retake exam:
o Open to all students.
o Exam begins at 9 AM (daytime cohort students) or 6 PM (E/W cohort students) on
Thursday 8/27/20.
o All you need to do is sign into your ATI account and be ready to test with the Proctorio
app.
o Although there is no remediation to submit ahead of the retake exam, we strongly
encourage you to examine your Individual Performance Profile from the first attempt.
Review those areas in which you struggled. Consider using Active Learning Templates
and 3 Critical Points to assist you in your remediation.
o If your performance on the retake shows improvement, your ATI Comprehensive
Predictor proctored score will be adjusted. If your performance does not show
improvement, your score will not be changed.
 VATI and EDNUR
o All students are required to complete 100% of the VATI modules to receive the EDNUR.
o We highly recommend that you continue in VATI to achieve “green light”; however, it is
not required to receive your EDNUR.
o Your VATI coach will continue to encourage you to complete the “green light” because
this benchmark is usually required. (That is why some of you have received feedback
from your coach that you “must” do this.)
o If you are unsuccessful in finishing all VATI modules at “100% completion” before the
end of your VATI enrollment, then you are required to participate in ResU’s NCLEX
Success Program. (see next bullet)
 ResU’s NCLEX Success Program
o Prof. Mary Jane Evangelista is ResU’s NCLEX Success Specialist.
o Prof. Evangelista offers both virtual classroom and recorded lectures.
o This program provides additional NCLEX support and is open to all students.
o If you do not complete all VATI modules at “100% completion” before the end of your
VATI enrollment:
 You are required to participate in Prof. Evangelista’s program for a minimum of
2 weeks post-graduation.
 After participating in the program, Prof. Evangelista will assess your readiness to
sit for NCLEX. She will notify CON Leadership that you have completed the
program.
 These steps are required before you will receive your EDNUR.
