Bodhisattva - (in Mahayana Buddhism) a person who is able to reach nirvana but delays
doing so out of compassion in order to save suffering beings.
calligraphy - the art of producing decorative handwriting or lettering with a pen or brush.
garbagriha - is the sanctum sanctorum, the innermost sanctuary of a Hindu and Jain
temples where resides the murti (idol or icon) of the primary deity of the temple
handscroll - is a long, narrow, horizontal scroll format in East Asia used for calligraphy
