Summary
Through singing, reordering, and writing activities, students will learn how to state the time of the events
when they see on the clock images.

Testing using a Kahoot quiz to measure their knowledge about telling the time, which they have learned in
the class.

Explanation
After they will be given the instructions verbally by the teacher, the students will go to the computer lab in
the school in order to complete the quiz individually. However, if there are not enough computers or some of
them are broken, some students can work in pairs. According to the results, the teacher can evaluate the
students.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
In this week, the vocabulary about telling the time (such as, quarter to/past, half past, o’clock, etc) and the
sentence patterns (what time is it? It’s __ o’clock.) will be introduced to the students through the topic of
movies in the student book. After that, the students will firstly listen to a song about the subject, and then
they will sing it themselves in pairs/groups. They will then be provided with the reordering activity
worksheet. Then, they will be provided with the writing activity worksheet. At the end of the lesson, they will
demonstrate their knowledge by solving a Kahoot quiz, which includes 10 questions about telling the time
under the topic of movies.
Backup plan: There may be some technical problems related to the internet and the computer(s) →the
teacher will keep hardcopies of the worksheets of the activities beforehand, and will also take screenshots of
the questions in the Kahoot quiz in order to reach it without electricity or internet connection.
