Creation Story for INTFILO

Long time ago, God created the universe to be his home. God had 3 children:

Fire – the eldest, Wind – the middle child and Water – the youngest. Fire was

warm- hearted; he was kind to his siblings although he was very strong and

powerful. Wind was God’s messenger to the whole universe. She was very

obedient and has always been trusted by the Father. Water, the youngest was

very fragile. God created the Earth to be the playground of his children. God

created day & night; he also created the Sky so he could watch his children in the

day. God created land, trees and mountains to watch his children at night and so

they could guide them.

Fire, Wind & Water like to play all day. Wind and Water would always play

together; they would always go around in circles and play the whole time. Fire

likes to be melancholic. He would often play alone that is why he is not close with

Wind and Water. Fire would often play with mother Earth, the ruler of all living

things on Earth. Mother Earth and Fire would talk all day and Fire would create

warmness at night. Fire was Mother Earth’s favorite. Water most of the time

would get jealous with Fire. Water felt unimportant to God and everyone.

One night, fire lit up by the shore. Fire couldn’t sleep. He talked to God that he

felt lonely. God sent Wind to play with Fire. They played together throughout the

night. Water got jealous and started splashing out in to Fire. Fire got mad and

they both started fighting, and releasing intense energy to each other. The whole

earth was destroyed. Trees are burning, volcanoes erupting and body of water

turned into Ice. Everything was destroyed but below the sand and soils of the

Earth, a new life form was born out of the strong energy Water, Air and Fire have

released. A man was formed out of mud of the war. God sent life of this human

form clay and Suddenly; a big thunder came to the sky. God was really angry

and said “I will send each and everyone of you away from each other. Jealousy

should not prevail within your brothers and sisters” God sent Fire into the outer

space and he became the Sun, Wind was retained on earth and water remained

in the oceans. For many years and until now, Fire and Water haven’t reconciled.

They always contradict each other, and that will remain till the end of time.

Humans are made out of the anger of the three siblings. The creation of Humans

remains to be in the memory of that war and the 3 elements remain to be the

center of Life.
