Apreciado estudiante, recibe un saludo cordial. En la siguiente actividad


se estudia la estructura gramatical del futuro simple en Inglés con el uso del auxiliar
Will, en tal sentido cuando se utiliza el Will para hablar de un futuro relacionado con
predicción, en el cual hay un tiempo para que ocurra. Es como cuando en español
hablamos de probabilidad.
Para un futuro más inmediato utilizamos el going to seguido del verbo. En
cada actividad tienes un ejemplo.
Recuerda que en caso de dudas me puedes consultar por el número
telefónico que aparece en la plataforma. Ahora bien la actividad evaluativa, solo se
recibirá por la plataforma.
La actividad tiene una ponderación máxima de 50 puntos. (PARA
COMPLETAR LOS 100) correspondientes al tercer y último corte.

LANGUAGE STUDY 1

Use will or won’t to make simple predictions about future actions or


events.

She will move out. It will be expensive in December.

Use will or won’t to express a person’s intentions about the future.

I’ll make dinner tonight. We’ll go to the beach on Sunday.

Use will + the base form of the verb. Use will with all the subject
pronouns.

In conversation, use the contracted forms of will. In formal writing, use


the full forms.

1- Complete what Sam says with will or won’t

We have two daughters. Mary still lives with us. She’s in high school. Of
course, she ________ move out when she goes to college, that is, if she goes!
But she ________ come and see us in the vacations. I hope! Without Mary,
it’ll seem awful quiet around here! We __________ hear that terrible music
she plays all the time. And the phone __________ be busy all the time. Jenny,
our other daughter, is married and I think she and her husband __________
start a family soon. Just think. I __________ be a grandfather! And Jenny and
Greg and their kids __________ come and stay with us and they __________
call me “Grandpa”! Imagine that!

2- Read the completed text and underline the correct options.

3- Answer the questions as in the example.
