Description

The video shows you how the continuous planning of three- or four-sided lattice towers is possible with
the structural analysis programs RFEM and RSTAB by Dlubal Software.
From the automatic generation of structures and loads to the determination of effective lengths and
design according to Eurocode (EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-3-1, EN 50341), corresponding add-on
modules are available, which are briefly described in the video.
Which add-on modules are presented?
With the [RF/TOWER Structure] add-on module, you can easily generate lattice towers, mobile radio
towers, or overhead line towers using parameters.
With the help of the [RF-/TOWER Attachments] add-on module, you can create tower attachments such
as antennas, platforms, ladders or cable ducts.
The add-on module [RF-/TOWER Loading] generates the design-relevant actions for lattice towers, such
as wind, ice and traffic loads.
The add-on module [RF-/TOWER Effective Lengths] determines the effective lengths of members in
lattice towers with square, rectangular or triangular ground plans.
In the [RF-/TOWER Design] add-on module, lattice towers are designed according to EN 1993-1-1, EN
1993-3-1 and EN 50341.
