The TOVP Kalash is the only one of its
kind in the world owing to its sheer size

magnitude. It is 23 meters (75 feet) tall
and 19 meters (62 feet) wide, and sits

a mammoth dome at a height of 84
meters (276 feet) from ground level.
Being the
topmost architectural feature
The temple would have 6,750,00
square feet of covered area, of
which Alfred Ford himself is building
4,250,00 square feet area. The
remaining 2,500,00 square feet area
would be built with subscriptions
from the public for which an appeal
was made on Monday. Each
devotee can contribute towards the
construction of just one square
feet of the temple.
A 75-feet domed planetarium
theatre, the largest of its kind in
India,
will be one of the unique features of
the temple that is being built with
imported stainless steel.

Sandstone Arches for Temple Windows

Each unit in

framework,
a jali, and

arch at the
top flanked
by two
columns
housing the
windows on
the Pujari
floor. The
surface of
the arch
which you
see in the

embellished
with
carvings in
the Art
Nouveau
