Run on sentences
COMMA SPLICE
A comma splice is an error that often
happens when writers try to avoid
writing short sentences. The word 'splice'
refers to the joining of two separate
parts.

PARALLEL STRUCTURE
Parallelism in grammar is defined as two or
more phrases or clauses in a sentence that
have the same grammatical structure.
-number (plural/singular) The children went
to the zoo. They enjoyed taking pictures with
the animals.
-word class (parts of speech) (tenses)
