I have completed by Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University where I was also a
five-year member of the varsity women’s volleyball team. Following university, I undertook further education
in the Early Childhood Education program at St. Lawrence College where I was also an assistant coach with
the women’s volleyball team. I have a wide variety of experiences working in unique childcare settings and I
believe that I have gained valuable lessons from each encounter. My love for working with children, my ability
to work in a team setting, as well as my likeability and creativity has aided me tremendously in my career as an
early childhood educator. After working as an ECE in a Kindergarten classroom for 3 years, I am currently
undertaking a new challenge as I pursue my Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior Division at the
University of Ottawa.
