Subject: APPLICATION FOR ALLOWING STUDENTS TO WEAR

HEADSCARF & LEGGINS IN THE SCHOOLS.

Dear Sir,

I, being the Shiv Sena Sakha Pramukh of Ward No-33 , is a very vast
Slum area in which there are many English /Hindi / Urdu Medium Schools and all
institutions has their own Dress Code. Hence the Ward No-33, is belongs to a
Muslim dominated Area and hence the parents of the girl students who has asked
to wear a hijab to school say that if they and others are not allowed to do so, it
“would violate a Muslim woman’s right to education” This is a horrifying
confirmation by the minority citizens role adopted by some Muslim parents for
their daughters.

"As a hijab is not part of School’s outfit, according to the school conduct
and school dress code policy, but as per Reply of Right to Information given by the
Education Department, MCGM, dated.16-08-2016 to an local NGO stating that

according to Constitution of India the students can use their Fundamental Rights
regarding Culture and Religion they can wear Leggins or Shalwars in Schools by
taking permissions to cover their body properly for their safety and also to remain
comfort in schools and also to implement the Child Protection Act, 2012 to avoids
cases regarding molestations in School Campus.

And hence the Students would immediately be allowed to wear her HEADSCARF &
LEGGINS IN THE SCHOOLS under the Constitutional values on religious practice.
