 Employment

The Bohol Limestone Corporation employed six regular employees as of 2015. Out of the six, three
are in the managerial position while the other three are rank and file employees. The company also
employs 47 contract workers, 21 of which are from NACI, four from S H I N E F O R , t h r e e
from DACONS are for Nursery Maintenance, while the other four from
J B R o c k a r e f o r W a s t e H a u l i n g . T h e r e m a i n i n g 1 5 a r e from JCSSI are in charge
for security.

III. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT

 Social Development Management Program

Total amount committed by BLC for the development of their host and neighboring
communities through their approved Social Development and Management
Program (SDMP) is P2.8 million. There are 12 barangays that stand to benefit in the
implementation of approved community/social projects of BLC.

 Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programs

PMSC-Bohol has committed a total of P2.5 million for the implementation of


approved plans/ projects/programs/ activities under the Annual
Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programs of 2015. The activities
set in the AEPEP are implemented to achieve the environmental management
objectives, criteria and commitments including protection and rehabilitation of the
disturbed environment.

 Mining Forest Program

The total planted seedling by PMSC-Bohol is 5,585 seedlings in an 11.17 hectares


private lot with MOA. There were around 60% planted seedlings survived and the 40%
were replanted due to burning and others were not survived during drought. Aside
from planted seedlings by the company, there were seedlings which was donated and
planted by students and NGOs for about 581 seedlings.
