To our beloved Principal, ___________________, to our respected members of the

faculty, to our hard-working members of the non-teaching department, to our

ever-supporting parents, dear students, guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen,
a pleasant morning1

I take great pleasure in welcoming you all in this very important occasion of the
school. Out of all our many ceremonies, I believe that, more than any other,
this is an opportunity for our youth, our students, to have an inclination on
what career opportunities they will go after they graduate in our institution.
This seminar is a good pavement for them to think twice and decide carefully
what they want to become years from now.

In this context, it is particularly gratifying for me to be able to welcome these

students together with their parents. I am also pleased to see the members
administration, members of the faculty, and the non-teaching department. To
be able to join this gathering is already a success on its own.

Career opportunities are always there waiting for our hungry youth. It is indeed
everywhere. With proper technique on job hunting and the perseverance, one
can land a career or job that she/he decides. With this, I am also tasked to
introduce to you our speaker for today.

He is a man of honor, integrity and strength. He is a trustworthy man, a man

of his word, and a man of dignity. Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado,
let us all welcome our guest of honor and speaker for this event, our very own
Mayor Josefino E. Miranda.
