fasteners.

SUBJECT: COMPRESSOR INSERT FASTENERS.

A. TURBOCHARGERS AFFECTED
This bulletin applies to all NA358 and NT1-12 turbochargers.

B. REASONS FOR BULLETIN


Compressor insert fastener torque setting has been increased to 120Nm. This is to
increase the clamping force between the compressor insert and volute casing. This
bulletin provides guidance on implementation of the increased torque value.

C. SCOPE
Increasing the compressor insert fastener torque to 120Nm.

1. With the compressor inlet casing or air filter silencer removed the fasteners
will be exposed.

2. Tighten fasteners progressively until 120Nm torque following a standard


bolting pattern (see figure 2).

N.B. Figure 1 illustrates the effected fasteners.
