COMPACT MISSION SYSTEM
Terma’s Compact Mission System provides a fully integra-
ted standard solution with Surveillance Radar, Electro-
Optical Sensor and C2 for automated Maritime Situational
Awareness & swift Maritime Decision-Making which
ensure increased efficiency in solving Coastal Maritime
Safety & Security missions. The Compact Mission System
is designed for Efficient Policing & Law Enforcement as
well as Search & Rescue (SAR) operations.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
By means of the SCANTER 6002 Surveillance Radar,
criminals like smugglers, pirates and sea-robbers, typically
operating in small boats, are detected and automatically
tracked from a far distance, in all weather conditions, day
and night. The C-Search EO provides TV and IR cameras
for surveillance and identification of tracks, day and night.
The Radar and EO information is handled by the C-Flex
COMPACT C2 system providing Maritime Situational
Awareness by fusing sensor tracks from the Surveillance

Radar, Nav Radar, EO System and AIS into a crystal clear
tactical situation display where tracks are categorized and
displayed with different colors and symbols allowing for
tailored picture compilation, and where radar video from
the surveillance radar can be overlaid. A rule-based auto-
matic analyzer helps the operator to act on the Maritime
Situation providing alarms on violations, and synchronized
recording of radar tracks and EO video as documentation
for use in a Court of Law and for comparing with history
collected in the built-in Intelligence Database.
TARGET DESIGNATION
Four (4) standard outputs are available for designation of
targets to standalone EO or Gun systems (slew-to-cue).
SEARCH & RESCUE (SAR)
Very demanding SAR operations can be solved by using
the Compact Mission System providing:
• Built-in library of SAR Search Patterns (adaptable)
• Simultaneous displaying helo and man-in-distress
• 24 hour day & night detection & identification
