The phrase is actually a reminder of everyone in the hospitality industry. It is a reminder
of dignity and courteousness that are the first things to be considered when greeting or welcoming guests. We are ladies and gentlemen that takes care of ourselves in a way that we can project a well-mannered as well as a clean image that greatly matter to guests. The image of the of the staffs are the reflection of what the company does and capable of. Furthermore, if we carry our image like a lady or gentleman in any work situation, most likely guests would flock around you or co-workers would prefer to be around you rather than to be with a lady or gentleman who doesn’t even know how to take care of him/herself. If a lady/gentleman can’t even take care of him/herself, then he is not capable of taking care of ladies and gentlemen as well.
