    Hemostasis;  Non‐contact ~2mm, Non 
    ‐ Control of Epistaxis  initiated Tip.  
    Anterior septum; short tip 
    anterior septum,  2‐3 Watts CW  300mic fiber 
    Nasopharynx; long tip 
    Angiomas,   Select the length of the fiber tip 
    ‐AV Malformations  according to anatomical site 
    Cutting;  Contact, Tip will initiate in  Anterior septum; short tip 
    Septal spur  tissue  Tonsil / Palate; long tip 
    Uvulopalatoplasty  6‐7 Watts CW  400mic fiber  Higher wattages are needed 
    Tonsil Ablation  Select the length of the fiber tip  in more fibrous/less 
    Frenectomy  according to anatomical site  pigmented tissue 
    Interstitial Ablation;  Contact, Penetrating Tissue, 
    Firing laser, penetrate tissue 
    Turbinate reduction  Initiate tip in tissue or ex‐vivo 
    5‐6 Watts CW  and maintain firing until you 
    Tongue reduction  400mic fiber 
    exit the tissue 
    Thyroid  Short or medium size fiber tip
