Sub: Complaining the concern in noise pollution.

On behalf of the people of Brgy. Zone 3 Poblacion, I am hoping you to lend an ear and acknowledge the
perception and sentiments on the matter of jarring sounds around the area as well.

Noise Pollution – a threat

I would like to give my regards to your good work on maintaining a clean surrounding in our barangay
but I wish to draw your attention to the noise pollution that is concerning our neighborhood. Most
people of our locality are irritated by the jarring sounds coming from various houses along the area.
Some residents are busy having karaoke especially during night time. Since the houses on our
neighborhood are close to each other, loud sounds are travelling next to each other’s wall making the
school children, elderlies and the public not to have a sound rest and sleep.

The school children are easily distracted by the loud sounds from the nearby karaoke sessions and
especially those college students having a night schedule are bothered. The elderlies also are
complaining fro they are not able to have a good sleep because of the noise. This sounds are affecting
the general cause of the students, elderlies and the those who are ill immensely. We are very much
concern to note that this noise would affect the hearing capacity and may cause such complications for
those who are not having a good rest. May I draw the attention of the concerned authorities to take
necessary steps as soon as possible to make the locality rest in peacefulness.
