Hi,

My name is Mansoor Ali Khan F/o Zayan Ali Khan. Being an old
Aitchisonian its my wish that my son should also study in this great
institute. I studied in Aitchison from 1985 till 1995. During my school
days, Mr A. R. Qureshi was the college Principal.

From class 1 till 5 I always stood first in my class and was also awarded
best calligraphy award in English as well as Urdu. From class 3 onwards,
I was declared Best Swimmer in my age group every year.

When I entered Prep School I was part of Salah-ud-Din House. From Class 6 till 8 I was
again the Best Swimmer in my age-group category, having created many school records in the
Annual Inter-House Swimming Competition. One of the records that I broke in those competitions
was 37 years old. During this time I was also appointed Captain of the Lahore Swimming Team
and after winning the Inter-District Swimming Championship I was then appointed Captain of the
Punjab Swimming Team. After that I represented Punjab in the National Junior Swimming
Championship where I was declared “Best Swimmer of Pakistan in U-15” Age group having
created 7 new National records and winning 9 Gold Medals. In class 8, I was appointed House
Prefect of Salah-ud-Din House and then had the opportunity to play in the house Cricket, Football,
Hockey, Table Tennis, Squash and Basket Ball Team. I also the won 1st prize in the Inter-house
cycling competition.

In Senior School, I was selected in Babur House and declared winner of “Rani of Mandi”
Trophy for the Best Swimmer of Aitchison College for 2 years in a row. Under my Captaincy,
Babur House was able to win the Inter-house Swimming competition as well as the Water Polo
competition. I represented Aitchison College in All-Pakistan Inter-College Swimming Championship
and won the Championship two years in a row. I was also declared “Best Swimmer” in that
Championship both years.

Today I am working as a Senior Anchor in Express News where I conduct a Current

Affairs show. It would be an honor for me if my son is also able to become a fine gentleman one
day and given the opportunity to study here. I think Aitchison College is the reason behind my
success in life and I hope that my son will also be able to bring success and achievements for this
school if he is given the chance.
