My name is Angel, I’m from Catarina Elementary School.

Today, I’m going to tell a story about “Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih”.

Once upon a time, in a remote village, lived a beautiful girl named Bawang Putih.
Her father had passed away, and she lived with her stepmother and stepsister.
Before her father passed away, her stepmother and stepsister were very kind to her.
But they treated her badly after her father passed away.

Bawang Putih did house chores such as cleaning the house and washing the clothes.
During daily activity, she used mask and cleaned her hand with soap water.
These were the health protocol because her village was in pandemic situation of Covid-19 virus.
As she diligently followed the health protocol, her family was in healthy condition.

One morning, Bawang Putih was washing some clothes in a river.

Accidentally, her sister clothes were washed away by the river.
She walked along the riverside to find the clothes.
Then she met an old lady with her sister clothes.

Seeing the old lady condition and her untidy house,

Bawang Putih volunteered to clean the house as a token of gratitude.
Bawang Putih gave the old lady her spare mask to wear and disinfected the house.
The old lady had a small and a big pumpkin as a gift, but Bawang Putih only chose the small one.

By the time Bawang Putih returned home, it’s already in the evening.
After cleaned herself, she met her stepmother.
Her stepmother was so angry of her for late return and smashed Bawang Putih pumpkin.
They surprised to find jewelries inside the pumpkin.

Bawang Putih told her stepmother about the old lady and the pumpkin.
Bawang Putih stepmother secretly asked Bawang Merah to imitate Bawang Putih experience.
Bawang Merah met the old lady and requested the big pumpkin.
Bawang Merah and her mother smashed the big pumpkin without Bawang Putih knowing.

As a lot of snakes came out from inside the big pumpkin, they immediately ran away.
Experience this, Bawang Merah and her mother learned their mistake.
They apologized to Bawang Putih for their wrong doing.
Bawang Putih forgave them and they lived as a happy family.

This story teaches us to be sincere of our action.

Every action will receive bad or good result accordingly.
By doing the good thing and keep follow the health protocol, we’ll have a happy and healthy life.
