Scope:

Scope of this project is to explore the options to propose & implements WiFi Zone on C-3
departments i.e. CHR, Planning & Marketing, Executives and IT Floors & as well as the
Training Center.

Available Options:

Following products have been explored:

1. Cisco 2504 Series Wireless Controller.

2. Fortigate 90D Series Wireless Controller.

1. Cisco 2504 Wireless Controller:

As with the cisco wireless controller, It works on both ISM 2.4 GHz (450Mbps) & 5 GHz
(1300 Mbps) bands & support up to 75 AP’s. Initially the proposed solution is designed
to cover the departments of CHR, Planning & Marketing, Executives & IT floors as well as
the Training Center.

2. Fortigate 90D Wireless Controller:

As with the Fortigate 90D wireless controller, It works on both ISM 2.4 GHz (450Mbps) &
5 GHz (1300 Mbps) bands & support up to 32 AP’s. Initially the proposed solution is
designed to cover the departments of CHR, Planning & Marketing, Executives & IT floors
as well as the Training Center.
