the accreditation of curricular programs in the Philippines, particularly for state

universities and colleges. The main function of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered
Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), is “to develop a mechanism of,
and conduct the evaluation of programs and institutions”

VISION:

To develop a mechanism for, and conduct the evaluation of programs and

institutions.

MISSION:

To make the attainment of quality in education an integral part of the higher

education systems more particularly among chartered state colleges and universities in
the Philippines, through a sustained program of internal and external assessment.

Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC)

is an association of public tertiary school level institutions in the Philippines.

These comprise all 102 State Universities and Colleges (SUC) which are under the 70
Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Some of the activities of PASUC focuses on
sports, literary, and musical competition annually participated by its active members.

OBJECTIVE:

to address the regional needs for quality education in particular and the national
and international level in general
