A BILL
To prohibit contributions to the United Nations Human
Rights Council, and for other purposes.

1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No taxpayer funding

5 for United Nations Human Rights Council Act’’.
6 SEC. 2. PROHIBITION.

7 Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Sec-

8 retary of State—

1 (1) shall withhold from a United States con-
2 tribution each fiscal year to a regular budget of the
3 United Nations an amount that is equal to the per-
4 centage of such contribution that the Secretary de-
5 termines would be allocated by the United Nations
6 to support the United Nations Human Rights Coun-
7 cil; and
8 (2) may not make a contribution to the United
9 Nations Human Rights Council.
