SCENE 1: Franco decides to resign from his work.

Franco: *typing from his PC/Laptop*

Franco: I’m so done with this type of treatment! It’s time for me to put this to an end.

SCENE 2: A month later…

Franco: *nervous look* *talking to his self before entering the zoom meeting* This is my first
day of meeting on my new found job, I hope this company embodied their code of conduct to
their employees. I wish everything will go well. *exhales deeply*

(Zoom Meeting Transistion)

Jerome: A pleasant day to everyone who are in this zoom meeting. As you all know, organized
this meeting today for a very important announcement for all of you. I want to formally
introduce Mr. Franco Aniceta, our new Internal Auditor. I welcome you on behalf of our
management and I hope you will like working with us. Team, let’s give him a round of virtual
applause.

Jocelyn: Hello Mr. Aniceta! Nice to meet you.

Erika: Hi Mr. Franco. *waves her hand* It’s great to see you.

Lexis: Welcome to Dueñas-Jugal-Villanueva Accounting Firm, Mr. Aniceta!

Augie: Congratulations and welcome Mr. Aniceta.

Vika: We’re looking forward to working with you. Congrats!

Franco: *shyness in his eyes* Thank you for the warm welcome guys. I am looking forward to
having a great time working with all of you.
Jerome: May I just ask you, Mr. Aniceta some questions?

Franco: Yes, sir. You may ask me anything.

Jerome: If you wouldn’t mind, I’ve heard from the HR Department that you resigned from your
previous job. May I ask what is the reason behind your resignation from one of the trusted and
leading accounting firms here in our region, Mr. Aniceta?

Franco: Honestly, I decided to resign from my previous job because the longer I work for
Mendez-Villanueva-Makabali Accounting Firm, the more I get frustrated and feel burned out of
my responsibilities. I’ve experienced work-life imbalance which caused me to do the work of
two or more people. I’ve always tended to overwork myself and I don’t feel any opportunity to
have all my hard works pave way to some growth and development that I’ve been longing for
so long.

Vika: I can’t believe that MVM accounting firm has that kind of employee treatment,
considering that they have a good reputation as a firm. Unlike here, DJV accounting firm
provides rewards to every hard-working employee which is a great way to boost our
motivations.

Augie: I feel sorry for you, Mr. Aniceta. No employee should be treated like that. I’m glad that
you overcome those tough circumstances. Based on my experience here, DJV accounting firm
gives employees an opportunity to work cohesively, they encourage to work with everyone.
Personally, it was fun to have a team to work on.

Lexis: That kind of unethical system of work shouldn’t be tolerated. Here in DJV accounting
firm, every employee matters. Every relationship, including work relationships, is built on trust.
This firm makes me feel that I am a valuable employee. I am blessed to stay here for almost 4
years.

Erika: That was a horrible working experience. I’m glad that you are here now in DJV
Accounting Firm. Personally, I am so lucky to have an accounting firm like Dueñas-Jugal-
Villanueva that cares about us and wants to help us to be more meaningfully engaged with our
work.

Jocelyn: I feel bad for your previous work experience. You made the right choice in working
here. We’re all delighted to have you. I want to share also my experience that this firm
enhances my skills and abilities that is needed for my position. I am happy to be trained under
DJV accounting firm.

Franco: Thank you for listening to my story and thank you for sharing your experiences. It is
indeed helpful and I now feel more inspired to work in DJV accounting firm.
Jerome: I am so happy that you all get along with each other today. And for you, Mr. Aniceta I
feel sad for what you’ve shared earlier about your work experience with MVM accounting firm.
Rest assured that DJV accounting firm will not just treat you as an ordinary employee because
we are a team, we are family. Family helps each other to reach their full potentials in their
chosen paths and that’s why I am planning to offer you a training program in SGS Philippines in
Makati about QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS which is primarily designed for auditors like
you. It will develop the skills to audit quality management systems. You will be accompanied by
your co-workers, Ms. Lexis and Ms. Augie to that training course. I hope that three of you will
hone new and exceptional skills after that training and I hope that you will be able to get to
know more each other.

Lexis: Thank you for this opportunity sir.

Augie: I am so excited to learn new skills again.

Franco: I don’t know what to say but I am beyond thankful for this golden opportunity you gave
to me, sir.

Vika, Erika, Jocelyn: Congrats guys!

Jerome: Before I end this meeting, I want to say again that I am proud to each of you and to the
new member of the DJVAF family, Mr. Aniceta, on behalf of all of us, welcome onboard! We
believe you’ll be a terrific asset to our firm and we’re all excited to share memorable working
moments with you! I guess that will be all for today. Again, thank you for all who attend this
