AGA21 IAMUS
The Annual General Assembly (AGA) is the annual meeting of the International Association
of Maritime Universities (IAMU). The International Association of Maritime Universities
Student Session (IAMUS), held as part of the AGA, brings together Maritime students of
IAMU member universities from all over the world to discuss recent progress and future
trends in maritime education, training, research and other matters within the scope of
IAMU. This year, the IAMUS will be hosted by The Arab Academy for Science, Technology
and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), a founding member of IAMU.

Challenges of new technology and IT applications in international
maritime industry
Venue
AGA21 IAMUS will be held at both the main campus of AASTMT and the luxurious Four
Seasons Hotel in Alexandria, Egypt.

Abstract Submission
Students are cordially invited to submit up to 450 words abstracts before the 15th of March
2021.
After notification of acceptance (15th of April 2021), subject to selection for oral or poster
presentation. The students will be asked to prepare a PowerPoint presentation, submitting
the full research paper will be left to the student’s preference.

Papers with Group Authors is highly recommended and will have a better chance of
acceptance.

Notification of abstract acceptance: 15th of April 2021.
