4. FIRST AID MEASURES :

Inhalation : Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Consult a physician after
significant exposure.
Skin contact : Wash off immediately with soap and water. Take off immediately all contaminated
clothes. Wash the clothes before reuse.
Eye contact : Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.

Ingestion : Do not induce vomitting without medical advice. If conscious, drink plenty of water. Ingest activated charcoal.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person

* In case of spill or leak : Keep people away and upwind. Shut off leak if this can be done without

7. SAFE HANDLING AND STORAGE :

- Yukalac® Promoter P-EX may be stored for several months if care is taken that the containers are well closed.
- Owing to the presence of inflammable solvent, for safety reasons, it is advisable to avoid excesive storage temperature ( if possible
not exceed 250C ).

- The normal practices for handling and using chemical products ( wearing of gloves, gogles, protective clothing, etc) should be
followed.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION :

* Engineering measures : Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at place where solvent vapor is formed. Ventilation in all
normal work areas, whether natural or forced, should be adequate. Forced ventilation should be located
at the lowest practicable level since vapor is denser than air.

* Personal protective equipment :

- Respiratory protection : In case of insufficient ventilation , wear suitable respiratory equipment.

- Eye protection : Tightly fit safety goggles.
- Hand protection : Rubber gloves.
- Skin and body protection : Wear as appropriate : apron, boots.
- Hygiene measures : Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands before break and at the end of workday.

9. FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS :
- Yukalac® Promoter P-EX is considered inflammable owing to the presence of solvent (flash point about 25ºC).
- Fire fighting means : foam, powder and water extinguishers.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
Stability : Yukalac® Promoter P-EX is stable, if stored and handled as
prescribed.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION :

This product belongs to the category slightly toxic. The toxicity of this product is mainly due to the presence of solvent and to that of
organic compounds.
The presence of solvent in Yukalac® Promoter P-EX may cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Appropriate ventilation

must hold solvent concentration below TLV-TWA and TLV-STEL values prescribed by existing regulations.

12. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS :

Waste from residues / unused product : Depending on regulations, by incineration or controlled dumping. The product is
a ‘hazardous waste’ due to its characteristic of ignitability.
Contaminated packing : Wash containers with caustic soda, steam and water to remove flammable residues before
reconditioning or destroying. Discard in authorized landfill in accordance with all
applicable regulation. Do not incinerate containers.
