SOPs for the Hostel Residents During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Since we are gradually opening our residential facilities for students,

faculty, and staff in different phases, here are the updated Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) for our hostel residents:

All residents will remain in their allotted rooms. Sharing of

rooms with other residents is strictly prohibited.
Guests are not allowed in any circumstances.
Common rooms, gym, and other community services will
remain closed during this pandemic.
All the hostel residents coming from home will remain in
isolation in their rooms for a week. During this period their
temperature and other medical parameters will be continuously
monitored.
Any kind of social gatherings like a tea party, lunches, and
dinners are strictly prohibited.
Meals will be provided in disposable boxes.
Masks are mandatory while visiting offices, classrooms, the
mosque, and the market.
All residents are required to report immediately if any kind of
symptoms related to COVID-19 appears.

In current circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is our

utmost priority to protect our students, staff, external service providers,
and contractors by upholding high standards in health, hygiene, and
