 IDENTIFIED PROBLEM:

Amrita Trivedi the country manager of KGDV (a KPO company) headquartered in USA has decided to
expand her WFH policy (already running since last 1 year) in the Noida office.
She has conveyed this to the head office and she is needed to evaluate, analyze and put forth her
rationale behind this decision of hers.

 VIABLE OPTIONS:
1) Go for the expansion of WFH policy: There is the imperial evidence suggesting that a shift to
WORK-FROM-HOME policy improves productivity. This also deals with the issue of limited
infrastructure.

2) Scrape off WFH policy: There have been instances of reduced morality of the employees working
from office. The long-term implications of work-from-home are unknown.
3) Go for infrastructural expansion to increase the in-office capacity:
Seeing the already crunched office space and the urgent need of new hiring to cater the exponentially
increasing demands this came out to be one of the alternatives.

 CRITERIA SELECTION:
1) Productivity:
Productivity seems to be a major area of concern since KGDV has a lot of projects lined up and it
needs to meet the demands. So, maintaining an optimal level of productivity could be one of the
determining factors for KGDV.

2) Employee Morale:

Fluctuations in moral would adversely impact employ productivity and health, which would
consequently, hinder overall growth of the company.

3) Retention of clients and Competitive Edge:

 The company could lose many of its big clients to its competitors because of the lack of
people and resources.
 As KGDV has lots of competitors in its vicinity there is always a chance of falling behind
while trying to match up.
