Define, verify and rectify the fault that this Engineer visit was
generated for

Print the internal test patterns. Copy a standard test pattern from
the Document Handler (if available) and platen glass. Check for
PQ/CQ defects and rectify any faults

Check the printer's fault history. Resolve any secondary recurring

faults

Check the Supplies page. Advise the Customer if any items are
close to End of Life
Clean the platen glass. Inspect all Document Handler Rollers and
retard pad/s. Clean only, if toner or debris is visible. Replace if
worn
Inspect paper pick/feed rollers, exit rollers and guides. Clean only
when toner or debris is visible. Replace if worn
Check the laser scanner/LED print head window for obstructions or
contamination. Clean as necessary

Inspect the fuser and transfer roller for wear and contamination.
Replace if required
Check the Firmware level. Upgrade to the latest version if required

Carry out the 6 Monthly Mains Cable Test and Inspection.

Check the general cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the

printer including the fans. If necessary, clean (dust or vacuum)
these areas
Perform a final full function test of the Printer. Gain the Customer's
acceptance of the maintenance work you have completed
Perform a machine Clone function (if available) and perform a NVM
Backup routine (if available)

Print a Configuration Sheet and store it within the machine Log
