Karen S. Haynes, Ph.D.
President of Cal State San Marcos
Since Dr. Karen Haynes became President
of California State University San Marcos in
2004, the university has become one of the
five hottest CSU campuses in the state, and
student enrollment has exploded by 22
percent to more than 9,000 students. She is
the author of several books, including A
Dream and a Plan: Women’s Paths to
Leadership in the Human Services, and was
honored in 2007 with the San Diego
YWCA’s TWIN Award for her positive
contributions to the community.

Page has been a columnist and a member
of the Chicago Tribune’s editorial board
since July 1984. Mr. Page is also a regular
contributor of essays to “The News Hour
with Jim Lehrer” and has served as a
regular panelist on ABC’s “This Week” and
BET’s "Lead Story."
John Quinones
Co-anchor "Primetime"
John Quiñones is a co-anchor of
"Primetime" and was most recently a
correspondent for "Primetime Thursday" and
"20/20.” He won six national Emmy Awards
for his "PrimeTime Live,"
"Burning Questions" and "20/20" work. He
was awarded an Emmy for his coverage of
the Congo's virgin rainforest.

Commissioner Simon utilizes his
background in business, regulatory law, and

California. He actively promotes and
encourages diversity to reflect California's

Luke Visconti
Partner and Co-founder, DiversityInc
Mr. Visconti directs all editorial operations of
the magazine and web site. He also
developed and directs the methodology for
the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for
Diversity. He is a frequent senior level
lecturer on the business benefits of diversity
to corporations, business groups and
non-profits.
