Chi Ha Water Park is catered to providing the best and quality services to both potential
customers and tourist by full filing our objectives through the mission and vision statements.

Mission Statement:
Driven to provide guests and families with an exciting and memorable experience in a safe
environment while offering recreational and other specialized activities in promoting a healthy
lifestyle.

Vision Statement:
To become Belize’s most desired customer-focused water amusement park, we are committed to
delivering a safe, fun experience to all our customers.
 SWOT Analysis
In order for Chi Ha Water Park to be successful and knowing the factors in becoming Belizean’s
most customer-focused amusement park they have to undertake a SWOT analysis in determining
and identifying its internal strengths and weaknesses as well as its external opportunities and
threats.

Strengths:
-Strategic Location for attractions and events
-It is Family Oriented
-Promotes Healthy Living and exercises through specialized activities
-Providing Safety for our customers
-Touristic Attraction both Domestic and International
-Expanding of recreational activities
-Unique experience offered such as weddings, pool parties, etc
-Quality Service at an affordable price
Weaknesses:
-Seasonal Peeks such as Christmas, and New year traveling
-Accessibility- may be a little distant for northern and southern districts
-Costly to operate (Financially and Human Resources)
-Employment of employees to partake in hourly shifts
-Competitors (Old Belize, Bacab Eco Park, Ayala’s Natural Pools);
-Lack of Popularity, since it is a new startup venture
-High rates: The entrance fee will be a little expensive due to pricy investment.
-Aging Facilities
Opportunities:
-Marketing (Making the public more aware and providing promotions to entice customers)
-Increasing the usage of Social Media in making the awareness of Chi Ha Water Park
-Little to no recreational activities in Belmopan
-Having an interactive approach with customers and increasing website interaction and updating
it with events and contented customers
-Business Opportunity in the location due to lack of activities in the area.
-Creating a interactive webpage to promote the business Internationally and locally.

-Low prices offered by other competitors (competitive price wars)

-Natural Disasters (Rainy season, storms, hurricanes)
-Economy: low in flow of money in the country leading to less spending money for domestic
tourists. (Economic slowdown)
 Background Information
Chi Ha Water Park is a service-based venture that will be located outside Belmopan City
along the George Price Highway. This location will be a suitable spot for customers’
convenience because it is situated in the middle of the region. Chi Ha Water Park will be
accessed through an entrance trail that caters for the well-being of our visitors. The status of the
business is a start-up Water Park that is managed and operated by the owners, Kelcey Moguel,
Krishaun Villafranco, Lesley Heredia, Sichaga Samuels, and Yadira Chiac by a formal
arrangement through a legal partnership form. The owners have noticed that a Water Park is a
great way to generate both employment and increase revenue for the country. Our country,
Belize, is a tropical place where the temperature is very humid. The owners decided to open a
water park to resolve the situation of these extremely humid days, and to promote healthy living.
The process of opening the Water Park is acquiring inheritance through investments,
applying for a partnership loans, and savings. Regularity restrictions that applies to us is first
registering our partnership within Belize City with the assistance of an attorney, Registration
with the income tax department to receive a business TIN number to able to process payments of
both GST and Business Tax. In the process we will be granted a permit from the government on
whether the environment is a suitable, economical, and safe to build a waterpark. If we do get the
permit, we will need to pay a fee in order to clear off all arrears owing and inclusive of fees in
registering the business name and partnership.
The business will be profitable because we will provide reasonable prices with quality
services, catering to the needs of customers. Chi Ha Water Park will create an eco-friendly
environment inviting potential customers and tourist, to promote a healthy lifestyle, recreational
and other specialized activities, and having enthusiasm and demonstrating a positive demeanor in
making sure our customers are contented and carefree.
Chi Ha Water Park will be providing our customers with a diverse selection of
entertainment, such as a five-minute trail walk or inclusive of rent carts for transportation,
exercise routine routes, with maximum safety at the best commodities all classes of families can
afford. Although we will just be a start-up company, it will be expanded in the future by
providing a more luxury and satisfying experience to our customers.
 Our business will be a destination to transport you to an entirely different place to keep
our customers active and rejuvenated. Although we will be known as a “water park,” it evokes
the images of soft grass and sitting on parks benches, but in reality, you will be burning calories.
Chi Ha Water Park, will be our mission to keep you soaked and rejuvenated all day long. Our
customers will have full confidence and peace of mind in choosing Chi Ha Water Park.
The business will be opened between 9:00am to 7:00pm on Monday to Sunday however,
flexible hours are available for reserved activities. The business will be successful because there
will be an awareness of a new Water Park that will stand out from the rest of waterparks in
Belize featuring activities for both families and kids, offering wedding events, health events,
birthday party events and other specialized activities that customers are willing to experience.
Themes that will be focused around the Chi Ha Water Park will be exuberant, spacious, bright
and memorable.
The owners will have experience in accounting, marketing, managing and source of
knowledge in the business fields to own and manage the business in making sure it will be
profitable and successful. All partnership owners will have a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting,
with business fields of Small Business Management, Principles of Management, Principles of
Marketing, Economics and English. The market research done is that there were no existing
water parks in Belize; except for Old Belize and Bacab Eco Park who does not offer types of
recreational activities for families. The findings of the study were that consumers and tourist are
attracted to recreational activities that involves their family in a safe environment. Chi Ha Water
Park will benefit potential customers and tourist who are seeking for an ideal spot to rejuvenate,
but simultaneously targeting the healthy living customers who are seeking our exercise activities
offered, such as water exercises or swimming classes and trail walks.
There are managerial and technical training needed for the partners involved. Those
include seminars from other waterparks agents regionally and internally, training in getting
involved in starting the business, doing research in the targeted region, also working alongside
with an experience budget planners, and engineers who will guide the partners of the new
ventures that will be included in cost of the project. Seminars and trainings will be held three
times of every week in the month. Meeting with budget planners and engineers will be from
when the project is starting to when it is launched. Our potential and future customers will be
beneficial to our waterpark as well as stakeholders because of the different recreational activities
and entertainment we will offer to support our customers and make sure they are inspired and
contented. The benefits will be a healthy lifestyle, enjoyment with families and friends, and
relaxation of mind and body. Our future recreational activities will also be beneficial because of
specialize activities focused around the theme of Chi Ha Water Park, and the expansion of
waterparks throughout Belize City.
