INTRODUCTION
Location : Waranga, Nagpur
AIM
The aim of the project is to design a campus and create a space which draws from the concepts of
biophilic design and to have an healthy environment for the students.
OBJECTIVE
• To provide a sustainable campus and an healthy environment for students
• Locating the buildings with public spaces and common facilities for encouraging social
interaction.
METHODOLGY
• Doing the site analysis and the context of the site
• To do literature case studies and their by generating idea of spaces that would be needed
SCOPE
Educational institute is comprised of multi-disciplinary buildings with multi-disciplinary functions rite
from mass audio gathering spaces to like auditorium to small casual/formal group discussion area to
administrative block to residential units like staff quarters and hostels. So in an institutional building one
gets to study and explore the architectural possibilities for multi-disciplinary buildings their nature,
functionality, organizational structure, etc.
WHY THIS PROJECT
The main reason for selecting this topic is the idea behind biophilic design. The need of biophilic
design increases where the environment becomes more inwards and nature is hardly seen or felt. Space
like hostels or classroom where spaces are much more indoor.
