Emmett Dalton
Emmett Dalton was born in 1871 in Missouri,

the youngest in a large family.

 Their father was Lewis Dalton from Jackson County, Missouri. He was a
saloon keeper in Kansas City, Missouri, when he married Adeline Younger.

 By 1882, the family was living in the Indian Territory, now the state of
Oklahoma. A few years later, they had settled in Coffeyville in southeastern
Kansas

 Their first robbery target was a gambling house in Silver City, New
Mexico.
Around 9:30 the morning of October 5, 1892
five members of the Dalton Gang (Grat
Dalton, Emmett Dalton, Bob Dalton, Bill
and Dick Broadwell) rode into the small
town of Coffeyville, Kansas.
