Myself, My Body (Back to School)


20th April – 24th April 2020
Materials:

- Flash cards (if you have any)


- Blank paper or One-sided used paper
- iPad/ Laptop
- Newspapers
- School essentials (school bag/ water bottles/ pencil box/erasers/school van flash card or picture… anything that is related to
school)

Week 1 (familiarizing them to the concept of school)


Target: - By the end of the week your child should be able to interact with you about why they go to school and what they do in school.

- Please keep talking to your child about the current situation and why they are not in school but in due time they are required to
go back to school.
- You can also talk to them about their daily routine in school which goes as follows:
Talking about the school’s daily schedule will prep them with what it will like in a day at school and they will not be
overwhelmed with the transition when they head back to school.
1. Morning Assembly
2. Breakfast
3. Morning Circle Time
4. 1st Work center/ Interaction Time
5. Lunch
6. 2nd Work center/ Interaction Time
7. Snack Time
8. Home Time
- During the second last day of the week you can slowly transition to My Body theme by showing them the video and talking
about different external and internal human body parts.

count and write)

NOTE
- Parents it is not mandatory to finish all the activities, however, it would be nice if you encourage them to finish at least
one activity and try to meet the target.

- It would be nice to see their progress; hence we would like to request parents to send us a video recording or pictures of
their progress at the end of the week (Saturday 25th April 2020).
