The emulsion must have a viscosity between 50-450 Saybolt Furol seconds at 25°C and pass a 24-hour storage stability test with less than 1% change. When applied, it should provide good dry aggregate coating and fair wet and sprayed coating. The distillation residue must be between 65-90% and have a penetration between 40-90, ductility over 40cm, and solubility over 97.5%.
