PATTERN NOTES

1. Join most rounds with a SLST in the top of beginning stitch unless otherwise noted.
2. “In next stitch” does not refer to chain stitches.
3. Pattern repeats may be marked within a round with any of the following: * *, ( ), [ ], or { }.
4. I highly recommend crocheting over your starting thread as you work the beginning rounds so
that you don’t have to weave it in later. Use a smaller hook to weave in your final end.
5. Please read through the stitches and terms section before beginning. All stitches in this pattern are
listed and/or explained in this section unless they are explained within the round. Please refer to
this section for any unexplained stitches.
6. Not all stitches that are skipped will be detailed with a ‘sk’ instruction. When it says to ‘sk’ a
stitch, it is meant to clarify where you work your next stitches, when it would be otherwise
confusing without the instruction. Other skipped stitches that are not detailed are understood by
the instructions where to work your next stitches.
7. You may substitute a CH 3 for a CSDC if you prefer. CSDC will always count as the first DC of
the round. If it is coupled with a FP-SLST, it is the first FPDC. If it is coupled with a BP-SLST, it
is the first BPDC.
8. To print this document without the headers/footers: (1) click ‘print,’ (2) select ‘custom scale,’ (3)
change percentage to 120%.
