The pastry industry is a thriving business industry that makes up a significant portion of the

culinary field. The field which reaches out to bakers and culinary chefs which focuses on honing their

which the product focuses is specific to the masses which hold the highest market share but the stiffest

competition with a market that searches for a product that provides everything to a staggering degree

while having a low cost which is a straight up dilemma. The leading edge of the Calamansi Bar over other

regular baked products is the incorporation of a fruit based ingredient that is locally grown readily

available and provides a good quality flavor profile. It does deal with already culturally acclaimed products

like the “pan de sal” and other baked products and which is already accustomed to the Filipino table. In

light of this the Calamansi bar also appeals to needs of the customer of a product that provides a healthy

Filipino people and create innovations to already culturally acclaimed food products with no quality flavor

profiles.
