Subject: REVISION OF RENTAL CEILINGS OF SELF HIRED RESIDENTIAL

ACCOMMODATION (HOUSING SUBSIDY).
Dear Sir,
I am directed to refer to Government of NWFP Finance Department letter No.
SOSR-III/FD/1-27/78(A) dated 15/10/2003 on the subject noted above and to state that the
Provincial Government has decided to revise the rates for self-hiring residential
accommodation (Housing Subsidy) as per detail given below:-

2. The revised rates will be admissible w.e.f 01/02/2008.

3. Provincial Government has also decided to withdraw the condition of
assessment and now the Housing Subsidy will be allowed on the basis of pay scale wherein a
civil servant is drawing his/her pay. For the civil servants to whom the housing subsidy has
already been sanctioned, the revised/new rates may be allowed accordingly.
4 The Civil Servants who will apply for housing subsidy w.e.f. 01/02/2008 and
onward should produce the following documents to the Secretary Administration,
Establishment & Administration Department for processing and issuance of proper sanction:-

i) Ownership documents of the house/Land (Mutation/Registry)

ii) Map of the house approved by competent authority.
iii) Limit certificate issued by CD&MD/Town.
iv) Affidavit on stamp paper that he/she is residing himself/herself in the said
house.
