The two pie charts above shows the percentage of different kinds of energy production (coal,

gas, petro, nuclear and other) in france in 1995 and 2005.

Overall, the highest sources of energy production in 1995 and 2005 were coal which accounted
for over a quarter the production of energy. In other hand, other kinds of energy sources had
the least amount of energy production in both years in france.

Based on chart, the percentage of coal in 1995 was up to 29, 80% compared wit the percentage
of coal in 2005 was up to 30,93%. Only a slightly difference about 1,5 % between the energy
production of coal in both years. Similarly, the energy production of gas was 29,63% which rose
marginally to 30,1% in 10 years later.

The other categories were much smaller. In 1995, petrol had produced 29, 27% of
energy. However in 2005 the percentage had dropped considerably to 19,55%. Petrol
was the only source of energy which decreased in production around 10%.
Furthermore, the least amount of energy production was nuclear (6,40%) followed by
other energy production (4,90%) in 1995. During the same ten years, nuclear and
other energy production showed little different growth about 5%.
