Script Winter of Code​ (​SWoC​) 

GUIDELINES: 
PROJECT ADMINS​: 
1. Contribution period for SWoC 2020 - 21 will begin from 5th January 
2021 and will end on 28th February 2021. 
2. All the issues created under SWoC should be labelled as S
​ WoC 2021​. 
3. You can categorize issues as beginner-friendly, easy , medium and hard. 
4. We are still in the process of assigning mentors, till then please bear 
with us. 
5. PA’s will keep a track of progress of mentors and participants. 
6. Person who comments first on the issue will be assigned. 
7. Please help us to update your project tech stacks by filling the form 
provided in the Project Admin channel. 
8. Every Admin shall submit their progress report after every 15 days. 
9. No third party promotions are allowed in SWoC workspace.  
 
 
MENTORS: 
1. Contribution period for SWOC 2020 - 21 will begin from 5th January 
2021 and will end on 28th February 2021. 
2. Check the Projects on our website and fill your preferences in the 
google form shared with you. 
3. We will assign you projects according to your preferences mentioned in 
the form. 
4. Mentors can take upto 3 projects max. 
5. You will be added to the dedicated slack channel for each project . 
6. Connect with participants and solve their problems and doubts if they 
are facing any. 
 7. Know the projects fully before the contribution period starts , so that 
there are no issues after time. 
8. No third party promotions are allowed in SWoC workspace.  

 
PARTICIPANTS: 
1. Contribution period for SWOC 2020 - 21 will begin from 5th January 
2021 and will end on 28th February 2021. 
2. Participants can contribute to any project according to your tech stack. 
No specific project would be assigned to you. 
3. Separate channels are made for each project. Join them if you wish to 
contribute to that project. 
4. Each project will have 2-3 mentors, you can seek help or guidance. No 
specific mentor will be assigned to you. 
5. We are still in the process of assigning projects to mentors, till then 
please bear with us. 
6. Participants with at least 1 PR merged will be eligible for a certificate. 
7. Only issues labelled under SWoC will be considered for contribution. 
8. Person who comments first on the issue will be assigned. 
9. You can work only on 1 issue at a time and you are not allowed to form 
teams and work on an issue. 
10. No third party promotions are allowed in SWoC workspace.
