JOB DESCRIPTION:

1- Background:-

This is in reference to subject process package regarding “Addedum- Installation of isolation valve at safety showers
network”
Currently multiple leakages have been observed on portable water for saftey shower networks since commisioning of
project. Welding joints of above ground/under ground portion were completed with old welding machine/technique
without following manufacturer's procedure, thus causing compromised work manships due to leakages and frequent
need to carry out job on header. complete network is de-pressurized every time, which is a safety concern at whole
complex.

2- Projects Scope of work as per Process Package or MOC.

1:- Development of updated drawing.

2:- Procurement of materail and execution od scope.
3:- Update PSi package

3- Proposal:-

Mechanical package has been prepared as per recommendations of process package. New safety shower network is
designed in parallel to existing with isolation valves so that it can be hand over any time for maintenince without de-
pressurized the complete network. Underground piping material is same as existing HDPE (DADEX). Existing problimatic
HDPE line is not removed. Existing Isometrics & underground system diagram are updated for installation of new
valves. New HDPE piping to be welded (Butt fusion type) as per OEM chart and hydrotesting & other inspections to be
performed as per attached ITP. Following documents are attached with the package.
