Blocks of learning - its like a framework of understanding classroom learning and

behaviours. The framework draws from
research in multiple fields to suggest movement from lower-order to higher-order
skills.
Overall, it provides a rigorous perspective on what it means to intentionally
teach as a whole
– to develop the social, emotional, motivational and cognitive skills in every
learner.

A student can be exposed to new concepts or skills in any form.Once students are
exposed to new concepts or skills,
they need to process that new knowledge through exploration and practice.

The form of exploration depends largely on the nature of the lesson

practice can actually be counterproductive. If a student isn’t in her learning
comfort zone,
independent practice will be ineffective; both busywork and panic undermine the
learning process.
Exploration and practice in groups can also be used to resolve this problem

This block is placed at the top because of its importance. Strengths in this block
help students to be purposeful and
self-regulated and to engage in goal-directed behavior. Ultimately, if a student
becomes a strategic learner,
he or she is usually able to compensate and adjust for weaknesses in other areas.

In thinking about the learning and behavior of students, the instuctor can identify
the specific strength and weaknesses area.
When the blocks are stacked together as a model, one can understand how a student
unique learning and behavior characteristics.

The first goal is to identify and cultivate a student's strengths;

the second is to identify and address the weaker areas and abilities so that
appropriate accommodations and instructional plans
can be developed.

Many different combinations of skills are possible. The slogan "one size fits all"
does not apply to the learning abilities .
Educational therapists and/or other educational professionals can also use the
chart to identify and
target functional skills (foundational, memory, symbolic, and conceptual)

Summarizing what has just been learned helps students gain perspective and attach
new material to previous understanding
At some point in the learning sequence, it is necessary to establish the level of
mastery students
have achieved in a more formal way.assessments is the opportunity for a student to
learn from mistakes.
There should also be a process for the student to express what she has learned from
those mistakes
and to show that she now understands the concept. For example remedial should
hlelp the student
isolate the difficulty and practice the specific issue and assess the skill again.
Practice makes
perfect .
Why is it important?

Able to research build more comprehensive aprroach to student development by

supporting

the skills and mindsets of the students

Able to understand wwhat are the strong aand weak areas of learning so that
instructor can focused
on the wweaker areas so that the student can cope up with the other lesson .If the
student is
unable to proceed because of difficulty of the lesson, then th einstructor can
suggest the student to do other lesson the next segment of the lessonj.

the concept is like a step by step process of learning that the instructor can
assess performance
and ability of the learner during training.

This domain of learning example are:

1.Cognitive domain - knowledge. Howww fast he student can learn? is he a slow

learner or a fast learner ? every has
different learning curve.

2.Psychomotor domain - skills. How good or bad is he handling the aircraft? is he

adaptive to the controls of the
aircraft?
3. Affective domain - Attitude - behaviour or reaction every lesson? is he calm or
fast tempered in every flight?

Performing complex task or a certain manuever can be a progress for a student to

learn .

Stall - Stall is defined as a sudden reduction in the lift generated by an aerofoil

when the
critical angle of attack is reached or exceeded.

OBJECTIVES
teaching requirements

1.Must know the concept of learning between the instructor and learner
2.Able to identify and assess students in their performance
3.
4.Able to have professionalism and discipline the students/learner in suitable
environment

regulatory certification requirements

For example PPL CPL/IR , A320 Type rating or any certificate

that is validated to any Approved training organization.

Good aeronautical and decrease risk factors

Student needs preparation for the required procedures and standards

of each lesson to promote competency and consistency of the course.

Background overview of planning a structured lesson of modules and procedures

It gives the instructors an insight on how to properly organized a well-planned

sets of objeectives and modules during the training. And able to understand the
topics
of how the outlook of a lesson activity works. And so on it will be further
discussed
on this presentation.
