Subject: APPEAL FOR MAKEUP OF TWO MID TERM EXAM PAPER

Respected sir,
I am Qazi Gohar Rahman S/O Qazi Fasih Ud Din Studying in MS Program (Management)
2019-2020.
I have experience a tragedy on 23rd October 2019 after my evening Case Study Class of
Sir. Siddique as having extreme pain in abdominal area and visited Hyatabad Medical Complex
and gone through Acute appendicitis surgery. I was discharged on 25th October 2019 and was
advised to open Stitches after ten days as mentioned in my hospital documents attached to my
previous application. I dropped two of my papers i.e. on 5th and 6th November 2019 due to my
just opened stiches one day back and avoided traveling from Nowshera to appear for exam.
I have requested through application to the program coordinator for my makeup exam
but my application was regretted by the Semester Committee and no such detail was
mentioned in the notification that what were the reason of rejecting.
I will explain my position in following bullets to be reconsider for my makeup exam

1. My wounds after stiches were not that much healed to be able to travel from nowshera
to IMS and stiches were just removed.
2. MS Program Attendance sheet can be verified that I am punctual in my attendance.
3. I have a good score in my rest of two papers of Midterm as these two papers were take
home based.
4. I am working in Nowshera Medical College Nowshera as a Govt servant and serve timing
from 8 Am to 3 PM in office and travel from Nowshera to classes and then go back to
Nowshera for my family having two kids having a very difficult routine but seeking a
good knowledge area i.e IMS
5. If my two papers regrets my whole GPA will be effected and will be dropped out and my
ambition of studying again from IMS after ten years as an excellent institute as compare
to others will be highly effected.
6. I am old student of IMS i.e. qualified MBA in 2008-2010 batch and no such situation
happened with me in that session which present my impeccable past.
 7. I served this prestigious Institute for one whole year as Assistant to Dr Waqar Ali Shah
(Economics) for three months and Madam Fatima Ali Junaid (HR) for 9 months as
Teacher Assistant.
It is, therefore requested your authority to give me a chance for appearing to the makeup exam
and pursue my career in this prestigious institute to serve this society as a knowledgeable
scholar.
