Acoustimass 300
Refer to the Acoustimass 300 service manual reference number 760193-SM for schematics, PCB layouts
and parts lists located on service web site.

Preventative Repair Measures


Note: Perform the following on all units returned for repair.

Software Confirm all units returned for repair have the latest
software (See the Technical Services Website for
latest version) The software version will show in the
Tera Term window during power up of the bass
module.
D401 Replace D401 in all product being used in regions
with line voltages of 220-240V with new higher rated
Acoustimass 300
component - part number 836410-0200.

Once a cutover DOM for the new diode is identified, it


will be added to this document. As of 1/2/2019, all
product manufactured has the old diode. The old
diode should be replaced on all product built prior to
that date.

R519 is in the DC offset
circuit and will cause a
PAOFFSET error when
the resistance value is
higher than 48.7K.

Note: The diagnostic test


shown in the service
manual can help identify
if the resistor is damaged
without opening the unit.
See service manual for Follow Service Bulletin 760093-B1 - Replace resistor
details. with the following part number if it is found to be
damaged:
If R519 is defective,
PAOFFSET2 will show an Part Number Description
error.
191465-4872 RES, 0603, .1W, 1%,

Follow Service bulleting 760093-B2 and remove a
section of the rib that can cause damage to R519.
