 History
Barangay Magahis was created on November 14-15, 1984 for the time of President Ferdinand Marcos, headed by Barangay Captain the
late Hon. Mabini Tambus for almost 22 years from 1984-2006. Next Barangay Captain was Hon. Wilma Ovillo for only one term from
2007-2010.
Barangay Magahis administered by the Barangay Council from December 1, 2010 up to this present headed by Hon. Agapito B.
Madiog and seven (7) Barangay Kagawads, and two (2) barangay Functionaries. The Barangay Personnel has a total of 18 Barangay
Tanod, 4 BHW, 1 BNS, 10 Lupong Tagapamayapa, 3 purok heads and 1 Day Care worker. Today Barangay Magahis is composed of
three (3) Puroks with total land area of 158,763, and has a total of 92 household and population of 447, male 295, female 152 with a
registered voter of 242.
