Kal Teng
Dear sir,
We is very pleased to provide the following technical and cost proposal for Light Detection and
Ranging (LiDAR) use UAV data acquisition and processing with area cover approximately 500
hectares located in Kalteng.
SCOPE OF WORK
We understand that you require the LiDAR and Aerial Photography to deliver accurate terrain
elevation model and terrain cover information to allow your technical personnel to manage
your properties more effectively. The following proposed scope of work addresses these
needs efficiently and using a combination of the most effective current drone surveying
technologies.
• Mobilize LIDAR Team to site location, and find the base coordinate.
• Acquire LIDAR data and Aerial Photography covering an area of 500 Ha. The vertical
accuracy of the data is to be 0.05 – 0.10 m (standard error at 1 sigma) on clear ground
and around 0.50 m on vegetation area. The horizontal accuracy of the data is to be
0.20 m
• Process the data to a spatially correct Digital Surface Model (DSM) of unclassified
LiDAR strikes. The unclassified LiDAR strikes (point cloud) will contain the ground and
non-ground elevation points.
• All data to be supplied in UTM coordinates using WGS84 GPS datum. Vertical datum
will be geoidal height generated from the EGM96 spheroid / geoid separation model
adjusted to whatever vertical datum is being used on the project.
• Classify the LiDAR to “ground” and “non-ground” elevation points into separate data
set files for delivery and for each project block area.
• Each project area will be tiled into 1 km x 1 km tiles for classification and edits.
• After the LiDAR point classification contouring will be generated for the ground
elevations and provided at a contour interval suitable for the type of project area terrain
relief. We suggest 1.0 m contours or other agreed specification for flat terrain.
WORK EXECUTION
The following is the process of capturing the Airborne Laser Scanning (LIDAR) data.
• We will supply dual frequency geodetic GPS to be established in the area. The base
stations will be manned and logging dual frequency data at 0.5 second epochs during
the period of data capture. The GPS data will be combined with the LiDAR data for
processing at the completion of each day flying. The LIDAR data will be processed on
site to a stage where it is checked for completeness before the survey team
demobilizes.
• LIDAR survey data will be acquired in UTM coordinates on the WGS84 GPS satellite
datum (ITRF 2000 Reference Frame) and will be adjusted to orthometric heights
applying a correction to every data point using the EGM96 geoids model with an
average point density of better than 70 - 90 point/m² (DSM) using a M8 Quanergy
airborne laser scanning unit. If a different survey datum is required for the LiDAR data,
we will transform the data based on transformation parameters supplied by the client.
• We will use Drone Matrice M600 Pro. The flying height for the data capture will be
approximately 70 - 110 meters above terrain level to get most effective point clouds.
CLIENT PROVIDES:
• Project Manager/Coordinator
• LIDAR operator
• LIDAR data processor
• GPS Surveyor
The following will constitute the standard deliverables for the project.
Note :
Estimate time to finish project is 2 week, 1 week for acquisition and 1 week for processing
data.
