INHALATION: Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Get prompt medical
attention. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering 100%
oxygen. Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.

INGESTION: NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS! Rinse mouth thoroughly. If
chemical has been swallowed immediately get affected person to drink ~550mls. (1 pint) of water to dilute. Give
repeated drinks of ~200mls.(cupful) of water every 10 minutes. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention
immediately.

SKIN: Remove affected person from the source of contamination. Remove immediately all contaminated clothing. Promptly
wash all contaminated skin with water. Seek medical attention.

EYES: Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to
rinse.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES:

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
This material is not flammable. Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES:

Containers close to fire should be removed or cooled with water.
Wear Self Contained breathing apparatus.
Wear full protective clothing.

UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS:

May develop toxic or corrosive fumes in a fire situation !
May react with amphoteric metals (such as aluminium, zinc, tin) generating hydrogen gas which will burn or explode
if ignited.

PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE:

Keep run-off water out of sewers and watercourses.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES:

PERSONAL PRECAUTION IN SPILL:

Wear suitable protection as detailed in section 8.

PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ENVIRONMENT:

Inform Local Authorities if large amounts are involved.
Prevent product from entering drains or water courses by best available means.

SPILL CLEANUP METHODS:

SMALL SPILLS: Contain spillage with sand or earth. Absorb onto sand or vermiculite and transfer to a suitable
container. Wash down area with plenty of water.
LARGE SPILLS: Prevent the solution from entering drains or watercourses by use of sand or earth. Inform local
authorities if this cannot be prevented. Transfer to a salvage tank if possible. Absorb with vemiculite, dry sand or
earth and place into suitable containers. When spillage is cleared flush the area with water.
Wash thoroughly after dealing with the spillage.
